Accompanying the Droids TV series was an action figure line produced by Kenner, the manufacturers of the original Star Wars figure line. These were the first Star Wars figures to be made in an animated style. Featuring beautiful original artwork on the packaging, the brief biographies on the back of the package and the accompanying coins also were a source for other bits of information about the characters that were not revealed on TV. Today, these toys can be quite rare, as the first wave was only available for a relatively short period of time and the second wave was cancelled before it even saw production.

These figures are likely the most well know and coveted Droids collectibles ever made, with many 'holy grail' figures that the average fan will never own, due to them only existing in prototype form. The Kenner Droids line also included a few vehicles for the figures to interact with, including the unfortunately cancelled White Witch speeder.
Besides the Kenner figures, there are many other Droids collectibles that were made, but to my knowledge, the Kenner figures are the only ones, who through the artwork and character biographies, actually add anything to the overall story of the Droids adventures. This section of the encyclopedia will focus more on those small, but interesting bits of information than it will on the toys themselves, but photos of the toys will be included where possible.
